Hi guys its been a long time since i met my favourite seniors of softies 2k2 batch!! After a long time we had a get together on Dec 12th (Super star's bday). I met Dk with Shruthi and Gops with Aparna almost six months after their marriage!!
The menu for the day is veg biryani, gobi gravy, white rice, butter milk kozhambhu with ladies finger, pappad!!!! Dk was in full form concentrating only on his meals and din care about what others were actually commenting on him. Gops as usual silently filled his tommy and started our cricket.
We had a very grudging game of cricket post lunch with juniors at one side and all my seniors at the other side!! We juniors side and only jk from my class belong to the other side had a very tough competition having all the star players at the opposite side!! It's a greatful experience, after a long time we are actually playing cricket together with one pitch catch.
Finally by the end of the day its actually the seniors team who won most of the matches inspite of our sincere effort especially by Srihari ;) we lost many. Its ok, anyways it is a game and we always have to face both sides of it. The day ended well and the couple left the place, as usual the plan of Margret villa started. It was fun to have them the whole day.

Inspiration!!
Recently I met a guy who is just 2 years elder to me who works as a trainer in a concern. This guy has a great will power in him, becomes my inspiration and also the reason for my second spell of blogging. He inspires everyone who meets him. The characteristics of
He is smart, has a damn good communication skill, is versatile, is intelligent, has a great vocabulary, has a great sense of humor, can mimic, can sing, knows 8 languages, judges people correctly, is lovable by everyone. The main thing is he can operate a system, browse through websites, loves reading books, writes short poems. He trains people to improve their communication skill, etc..
Many time we would have blamed God for many things that had gone wrong for us or to our friends but I am the who think that everything happens is for good. The only time i realized that even God can make mistakes when this born intelligent was born blind. He is an ideal example for the people who are very lazy and fatalistic and also proves that everything lies in our hands.
Hats off to this guy.

A Very Different Experience
A very recent and a responsible job i have done is that i had gone for a discussion with a family who is looking for a bride groom. I was pushed by my family to have a chat in direct with them for knowing some details about the girl and to find out whether she will be suitable for my bro.
I don't want to go alone because I don't even like sitting alone at home normally I hate loneliness. I thought of taking my friend 1 who always dreams about his dream girl :). Unfortunately he had some important work to be done that day. Then i thought of my friend 2 who will always have a black screen in his front, breaking his laptop keys, without even finding time for shaving. He said he is going to his office to break his Desktop keys also. I called my friend 3 who knows only three things in his life. 1) His laptop 2) His phone 3) A night walk. He does nothing other than these things. When i called him he said "If the gal is for you i can accompany you. I can't come to decide a gal for your brother!!" Wow!! What a frienship??? I know u ll get a goose flesh after hearing this.
Finally I called up my parents and told that i m not going alone. They suggested my friend 4 who was going to celebrate her birthday and finally my friend 5 was ready to come with me.
A good welcome to both of us and i on behalf of my family talked to the gal's family and gathered the details whatever my parents and bro wanted to know. They wanted us to sit for lunch with them but my friend 5 who is unfortunately a veggie was hesitating how to deny it but somehow used my friend 4's birthday and escaped from it.

Outing!!
Recently I had gone to an outing with my team to a place called Jain farms which is almost 35 kms away from my office. We were only eight people in three cars three, two and three respectively. We left office at 9.15 sharp and had a enough amount of snacks with us ofcourse i had the most of it with me because i was traveling with someone who loves only junk food :). We made sure that lays and choclates should keep our stomach full till we reach the place. The first exciting thing during the journey was once we saw the tollgate of Tamilnadu saying "Tamilnadu welcomes you" only at that point of time we came to know that the resort is actually in TN from where you can touch Hosur in 10 mins. Not only the TN welcomes us also the Airtel sent a welcome message because apart from us our mobiles were also roaming. I clicked the camera in the places wherever i can see tamil.
Finally we entered the resort it was little bit sunny around 11. We started playing tt, snooker and went for swimming. Only three were ready to swim and we were simply chatting and passing comments about our manager and mentor :P. Then headed for lunch after spending 2 or 3 minutes in the swing. It was a typical TN style North Indian food and had a nice chat about films during lunch. The most amazing part of the outing is dumb charads with loads of fun chasing the film name with funny enactments.
Finally it was almost 3.30 p.m. when we finished two cricket games and was about to leave. This time it was our car to leave first. We started early and took the straight road guess what all of us in the car had forgotten to take a right to reach sarjapura and gone straight to Hosur. There are sign boards which directed us and we reached office by 5 wow! what a drive from my friend team mate in the heavy bommanahalli traffic which helped me to take my shuttle at 5.15. That was really an exciting trip

New member in my sports list
Sorry about the long gap for updating my blogspot. I am sure that my fellow bloggers would have thought that i m also one among the millions who is trying to enter the blog world and could not continue with it if you think so then that is not the case. Again I m back to put my thoughts to everyone.
I use to follow many sports like cricket, football, tennis (at times). Recently i have been attracted by so called Formula one also known as Grand prix. In my school days i heard that F1 is one of the sports which is known only for the risks and huge amount of money involved in it by the sponsors. Days passes by, then i started realizing that its not only full of speed, action, money and champagne :) but the strategies which each and every team used to follow to find a minute difference which you never know they don't even wanna lag a microsecond from its fellow competitors.
As everybody is excited with IPL i know its tough to spend time on watching F1. But I would say try to spend time only during weekends to watch this riskiest ever sport then you ll also love it for the way they race. I am mesmerized by this sport by watching it only twice and hope others too.

Improve your Speech skills
Everybody might be wondering on how to improve your speech skills? Let me introduce some ways which you can practice daily to improve your communication as well as vocabulary skills which will be helpful to you in the future.
1) Take a word which you don't use normally and try to use that word as much as you can in your speech on a random topic which will gain you confidence in using that word in a crowd. This helps in improving your vocabulary.
2) Crack a joke by a narration of an incident. This will help in improving your expressions, gestures and eye contact while giving a speech or trying to convey something to a crowd.
3) This one is familiar to everyone, Story telling which one person starts with some topic and the next person should continue where the last person has left. You can tell whatever you want. This will mainly improve your creativity and also on the spot speaking talent.
4) Take a topic and have a group discussion on that which will help you on how to talk in a meeting, it will also bring table manners which will be very useful when you are especially attending meetings with your colleagues.
5) The main important thing is try to avoid using words like "but", "you know", "so", "like" unless it is appropriate to the context. These are called filler words which are usually used by many of us to avoid passes in between our speech. One whitespace is fine instead of repeatedly using the filler words and annoying the people who are hearing you. Even I used to count how many "I hope I believe" my faculty says in his/her class which will entirely divert the listening of your audience. Many of you would have also done this!! :).
The main important thing is try to use the word which you have selected initially in all your speeches to know more about the usage of that word and call that as "Word of the day". A group of 3 or more people sit together and try this then you will definitely see a difference in your way of speaking and improvement in your speech skills.
I hope this helps you to be more "eclectic" in terms of communication, I used my Word of the day and also hoping others to do the same.

Power of hope
Everybody may be wondering about the title of the post but it is easy to guess whom i am talking about and yeah its none other than the Oscar winner, the legendary music director AR.Rahman. The man with so much potentials should have got this award a long time back for many movies he worked on but luckily "Slumdog Millionaire" turned out to be a milestone for him to get this award. He became the first Indian to get two Oscars. Can anyone ever imagine that you could be so humble if you were announced this award but i think everyone would have seen his humble reaction on the stage when he got his awards.
These are the few words he talked on the stage after grabbing the award "I just want to thank again the whole crew of Slumdog Millionaire, especially [director] Danny Boyle, for giving me such a great opportunity", he also added "all the people from Mumbai and the essence of the film, which is about optimism and the power of hope and our lives" and he went on "All my life I've had a choice of hate and love. I chose love and I'm here. God bless!!" Finally he said a saying in tamil "Ella pugazhum iraivanukke!!" that has made many tamizhians proud of themselves.
Hats off to AR Rahman and I am wishing him the best to continue his service towards music and to get more and more awards like this.

Men In Blue
Hi friends, I know this is very late start to my second post but could not find time indeed. I thought of this post right after Indian Cricket team who are generally called as "Men in Blue" shortly MIB lost in the final ODI against Srilanka and unfortunately missed to top the ICC Cricket team ranking. I know many of you would feel happy that India won the ODI series and also the T20 contest against Srilanka in Colombo but only very few would have known the effect of the one defeat for India in the final ODI in this series. The nine consecutive wins helped the MIB to move to the second spot following SA and followed by Australians but the last ODI defeat against Srilanka pushed India's position in ICC ranking from second to third instead that single win could have helped us to top the list.
We can always get to that spot at one point or the other but the opportunity comes rarely which should be used in an effective way but Dhoni's men missed it. Don't think that I am criticizing the Indian Cricket team, indeed I am very happy that the young team is delivering more than expected but the momentum should not go off when there are continuous victories.
I suggest if the momentum keeps going for the next few years then we can win the world cup 2011 which will be the happiest moment for every cricket lover in India. I am hoping to see that moment. Lets all wish MIB for a bright future as cricket lovers .

Naan Kadavul
I have never thought of writing a blog so far in my life but this day turned out to be really pathetic after watching the movie "Naan kadavul" from director bala after his three consecutive stupendous success. I think now onwards he is going to be considered as one of the most attitude directors in terms of his thoughts, his way of expressing thoughts etc.. Getting into the movie, Dont worry anyways I am not going to reveal the story but only want to share my views.
Let me first share the plus of the movie is none other than "Pooja" I guess many of you who read this will now be wondering that why i mentioned Pooja's name as the first plus of the movie, you will realize this only when you get to watch the movie. Even I was shocked to see her in born talents towards acting. Hats off to director for extracting out her full potential because nobody else has tried it out so far from her. She will stand in everyone's heart when you come out of the theatre.Her character is shaped really well and she has put her full effort to bring out the character really well. Hurray!! we have got another actress who has proven herself for the first time.
The second plus for the movie is the Maestro "Ilayaraja" who has again proven his excellency both in songs and background score. The title song and the introduction song of Arya are too good and it was very suitable to the situation. I could say that Ilayaraja is one of the gifts to Tamil cine Industry.
Now going into the negatives of the film, there are so many. I am starting with the director who has shown his complete attitude in the movie. I would like to ask a question Has he ever thought that the movie is going to be watched by children and women? There are so many gory scenes which can't be watchable by everyone especially women and children. The climax is as expected, yet another negative ending which reminds me of Paruthiveeran but thank god it is not worse than that.
The second and the Unexpected negative is the charcter of Arya. He has got good talents and he has really acted well in the movie but the potential is not upto the expectation. I think the director could have extracted more from him. He is totally wasted in the movie. I would always say that he has put so much effort to bring out the character but unfortunately it is not used so well in the movie. Ultimately this is also the mistake of the director.
Overall my comment on the movie is not worth watchable except for the people who really like the direction of Bala. My personal suggestion to gals and kids Please don't watch the movie and to boys if you are a weak hearted person Please avoid watching the movie. One thing I can assure to others is that you will feel for the beggars after watching the movie. The tamil film directors especially the commercial ones have got yet another villain for their movies now.
